  Currently I am interested in becoming a civil Engineer or architect. What interests me about this job is that i will be able to build many different types of buildings and structures.

 I was born in L.A where i have lived all my life. My name is nancy im really friendly and i love to learn math and science. I currently live with my parents and my sister who is a year younger than I,I also have an older brother who is at humbolt state university.

Nancy Edith Avila:

           I was born in Los Angeles C.A both of my parents raised me with my older brother. My parents(Lucy and Eddy)worked hard to support our family my dad worked while my mom was taking care of us and keeping everything in order.I was given Edith,my middle name after my dad's name.They made sure we always got the best and till this day we are the most important thing in their life. Soon enough my mom started working as a secretary for an architec and an engineer while we went to school. My brother(Julio) is three years older than I and my sister(Catherine) is a year younger so we grew up together. My chilhood is one of the best memories i have, nothing ever seemed to go wrong and if it did we would just laugh about it and keep playing or doing whatever it was we were doing. My grandma also played a big role in my family because she took care of us and i am really close to her she taught me to cook and how to sew by hand and machine which made us connect with a stronger bond. I grew older and met tons of new people some of which became really good friends. My best friend of all time is my sister i know she supports me in everything and i can trust her with my life. Although my brother is not as close to me as my sister is he is the biggest influence school wise he's at Humbolt University and always tells me to keep up with my good grades so that i can have a more luxurious life style of my own. Friends who I admire greatly are Danny,Tony,Diego,Cruz, and Miguel. They can cheer me up even when it seems like i can not be any happier they also support me with everything I do and I know they have my back. I have never moved from the house in which I live now and i have gone to all my home schools for example: Sierra Park, El Sereno Middle School, and now Wilson High School. I do the most common chores like clean my room wash the dishes do my laundry and things like that I am somewhat of a clean freak because my mom has taught me that ypu can work in an unorganized place so i like to keep all my things in order. Holidays are the time in which most people gather at my house and it seems like a mess probably because everyone is everywhere and kids are screaming and running everywhere. But at the same time they are some of the most wonderful times i have because the women show the girls howto makeand wrap the tamales and it just gives me that warm feeling inside seeing my family laugh and spending time toghether. I guessthe meaning of christmas changes as I grew older before all i wanted was gifts now it's more of I don't want anything because I'm happy with what i have. To me now a good time is hanging out with friends or family without having to go all out a simple bonfire in which we are all laughing is very good to me.
